Our Reserch centre was a rich couldrom
Where reactions took place of every form

Chemical, micro, pharmacological to a start,
It was good friendships which stood apart

Average age at Research was quite low
With few who tried to pull it up from below

Youth and its exuberance were on full display
And lasting friendships were best way to say

Years later we are back again this day
Most are here but some have gone away

I remember Robin, Paulette and Julius
Any more? my info could be ridiculous

Robin I knew was a gentle giant
In his work he was very compliant

But beyond this he had a wide wicked smile
His wry humour one could spot from a mile

His wide hand fingers could hold few flasks
Like the beer girls busy on Oktoberfest tasks

His long finger tips had magic though
As pianos and pianos would testify thorough

A dedicated son who took great care
An excellent PA to Rahejas beyond compare

Very direct and curt, our Paulette was bossy
Great store manager whose attire was glossy

But a good and fair heart beneath did lurk
Miss her wide smile and unmistakable smirk

In life all through She remained a good friend
Her sudden sad departure was not a good end

Julius I remember as a perfectionist one
With twin Vincent who was a similar one

Chemistry to phography to stocks & share
His interests grew in Church and welfare

In Research as friend on horizon he appeared
Suddenly one day he simply disappeared

Thus Time which once gave us good friends
Took them away before their true normal ends

And here we are gently remembering them
Preserving memories and their good names

While other friendships are further maturing
Research centre's couldrom was truly amazing
