Our family members have different names
With some similar and few of same names

We had two "Pankaj", one "Shah", one "Master"
And both were "Kinglike" in our mind's register

To us both were simple and quiet by nature
Each a family man, responsible and mature

Each had a daughter, Shayla and Khusboo
Khusboo's daughter Vidhi, means 'Destiny' too

Pankaj means "Lotus" and lotus they were
With wives Asha and Veena, both gems rare

Both served their husbands till the very end
Their ailments were not at all easy to attend

Both 'Pankaj' left when it was time to enjoy
Thus both were cheated of a later age Joy

Destiny of their wives looks cruel and unfair
Somehow they coped, didn't break in despair

Just like the ramparts of the family fort
That withstood cannon fires of every sort

Due largely to bonding of a family so true
One can see such travesty and still go through

We let both 'Pankaj' slip through our hands
Like passing through fingers of slipping sands

Their status changed from "are" to "were"
In our hearts however change is no where

Twin "Pankaj" echo other side you know what
We may not be twins but do 'forget-us-not'

We had two brothers in- law with same name Pankaj

This was written when the second Pankajbhai also passed away.

Both Pankaj Bhai passed away earlier than normal and both were lost to cancer after a brief fight....
