A tree overhangs from the precipice
It’s one branch stoops
So graciously
Offering a spectacular view
Of the valley
Amidst the setting sun
With the ripples of the hills
Shaded so differently ….
An artist’s delight!
The Sun soon dips
Behind
The last hills
Colouring the skies
So magnificently
Fireflies add to the magic
Glowing and flying
They lit up the hearts
Some mechanical fireflies
Far below in the valley
Also lit up the roads
On their way to Madekeri
Not to be left behind
The Venus glows in the skies
And then Jupiter
And then Saturn
And Behold!
A breathtaking full moon!
A visual delight!
And a fairy soon enchants Madekeri
She collects the stars from the skies
And
with a wave
of her magic wand
she empties them
into the lap of the town
and numerous houses
Twinkle in the delight
A cool breeze blows so softly
Soothing the soul
Why can’t the life just end here?
Or just begin?
It’s one branch stoops
So graciously
Offering a spectacular view
Of the valley
Amidst the setting sun
With the ripples of the hills
Shaded so differently ….
An artist’s delight!
Behind
The last hills
Colouring the skies
So magnificently
Glowing and flying
They lit up the hearts
Far below in the valley
Also lit up the roads
On their way to Madekeri
The Venus glows in the skies
And then Jupiter
