Time Ticks

Tick Tock! Tick Tock!
Time Tip Toes through the clock!
Second by Second, Minute by Minute,
Into this journey infinite

Defying the hour glass, every hour
For months, years and Eras forever
Weaving the threads of a New Story
Yours, mine and of Everybody

Time is but sand slipping through fingers,
Only the memories of stories to linger
Yet at milestones time doth linger,
A little longer while slipping through fingers.

A chapter begins, A chapter ends,
All the while ushering new new trends
In this ever changing entropy relations endure
Few go sour but many mature

Milestones are thanks giving for these mature bonds
Of family and friends, of whom, one is fond.
Milestones are for looking back at the distances covered
And to look into the future yet to be discovered.

These are the times to dream a wish to come true,
From tomorrow’s past wherein today’s future grew!
A firm handshake, a hug, a tear
Its your milestone, dear friend, we cheer!

And before the time stops lingering any more
A thousand good wishes and many many more!
