I will remember my good old days
And I will always remember my good old LOK
For one I did serve in this prestigious LOK
An experience which cannot be summed up just in a ‘shlok’
The best in the industry, to here did once flock
To make houses for the masses and many a building blocks
But for housing done they did not, limit this precious talk
There were also other areas that they ventured to walk
With rise in such stock LOK soon began to rock
Ah! Those wonderful days! Those dedicated folks!
Where a day began on dot, of an accurate clock
Where happily each other donned, their own job’s cloak
The work at LOK was enormous as anyone would gawk
Only late in the evening one could hit one’s hammock
And loyalty was fierce in LCGs Lok
As such it could endure many a shock
Changing times tried best, to run LOK amok
But LOK and its folks could withstand any stroke
The ship withstood a raging storm, its sails reduced to joke
But all is hail and hearty, as it is safely back in clock
Its timber still solid-an old English Oak
The sails will flutter anew, with new flag of LOK
It is this spirit I salute and in memory I lock
With Best Wishes for everyone in tomorrow’s LOK.
