Today, early morning we went to the railway station? to see off some guests....
As we went through the tasks of carrying baggage after mandatory x-ray scan, identifying the platform and coach positions and seat occupation, amidst the all familiar hustle bustle of numerous other travellers, railway announcements and refreshment providers ?buzz, while deftly manoeuvring through the crowd, I was momentarily transfixed about the unique inviting atmosphere of the railway Junction.
I felt relaxed, not because the guests were going away, but because the vibes stirred in me, the sleeping spirit of freedom and travel for exploring new experiences, going to new destinations or meeting? new people in same old destination routes. Each journey, before it begins, seems to give a promise of an original exploratory trip of happiness......
The ones who travelled albeit must be feeling they had spent some more days with their dear ones before journey and people who see them off would wonder why they themselves were not on the train....as if the train or passion of travel?ling had some enchanting gravitational pull.....
Slowly the time arrives for the train to depart giving a feeling of sands running through fingers....
One tries to capture the last traces of residual magic? in a cup of freshly brewed tea and reminiscing about life as soon the platform wears a deserted look....
Concept of Maya and it's pulls soon dawn upon the mind? as I manage to slowly extricate myself from the passion of travel and starts walking slowly, with a heavy heart, towards the bridge which ensures to usher me back to routine reality outside, ...which incidentally I understand, is still a maya!
